Thanks fellas, so far looks like I'm sticking with the antihero's cause I cannot do those creach/enjoi/heroin options, would be ideal to find some blanks with those dimensions though.
[close]
pennswood if you like 14" wb
[close]

This is exactly what I need right here, thank you!!!!
[close]
they have white blanks on their site for $30
regular blanks for $35
wincing at full price decks @$60-70 after that
[close]

Did you ever order these blanks yourself? Going on 4 business days now, still haven’t shipped.
[close]
yes two different orders. first one took about 6 days to ship
second one took around 3 iirc
shipping time inconsistency is my only complaint
[close]

sigh...this hurts. Thanks for the reply tho man.
[close]
I ordered an 8.25 a month or so ago and it took 12 days from order to arrival to get the deck. It was a little slow comparatively but I don't always feel good about expecting Amazon level shipping from every webstore I buy from. Still, if you got a webstore going you should be at least making weekly trips to the PO.
[close]

Yeah I got a shipment notification earlier today so I guess I'm gettin lucky. Not like the weather is permitting yet anyways, I'm just an impatient fuck who's used to nearly everywhere offering same day shipping. If any place takes like 2+ business days to ship I'm all wtf man.
[close]
i felt the same itch
the product is well worth the relative wait time
they were mia for a hot minute, just hyped my shape is back
[close]

That’s good to hear man, this will be my first time trying pennswood so I’m definitely stoked. Are the popsicles steep or mellow?
[close]
medium steep to steep
can speak on the 8.5 and 8.75 shapes i tried

Got em both today. One was shrinkwrapped with a yellow top ply and pink bottom ply which are unskateable colors for me due to OCD. Other one wasn't shrinkwrapped at all and covered in sawdust with a black bottom and blue top, which I dig those colors. Shape and concave on the keeper is perfect, I will order a couple more of these next payday and hopefully get at least one more keeper for backup lol.

Into The Wild Skateboards
Fred Gall Guest Board
9.735 X 31.3, 14 Wheelbase.
Between back holes I measured 9.1
Front I measured 9.3
Seems like it's Dwindle wood.
It my first shaped board and also my first board over 8.5.
I wanna try it with Venture 6.1s and 56mm Keyframes.
Standing on it feels great and I can't wait to try this thing out..
I don't think they are available in the us.
Also looking for other brands with dimensions like this. Would love to get some more wood in similar shape and dimensions. Maybe something that's more available.
Any hints are welcome.

Yes that definitely reminds me of the Siamese shape that I had a skate on not too long ago - someone's board at a session and although it was fun, I am glad I didn't get any, but I prefer more mellow concave and longer wheelbases.

Overall that should be a really good board for people who are into that sort of thing, shorter wheelbase, stiff wood, etc.

Two out of three Grimple boards have short wheelbases in this pic, but more so just for the middle one.

I know this thread doesn't consider 8.25" to be wide, but what are my options for a BBS deck with an 8.25" width and a 14" wheelbase? Preferably something close to the dimensions of a WKND CT deck, only not made by PS.

April, primitive, and now quasi have the same bbs 8.25 with a 14 wb. Never skated it myself but only heard great things. Way too small for this thread though, be gone

They asked for BBS decks. While Quasi fits the sizing requirments, they are PS Stix.

They are still using PS Stix, but have started using BBS for some boards.

i’m not sure if they changed the WB on Marbie’s shape but i had the graphic before that one and the wheelbase was like 14.3 iirc. i really liked it and think it’s a great shape. if anything double check with there’s webstore. i’d say go for it!

anyone skated the 8.5mp from Weekend? I remember the dimensions being a 31.5 length but its saying 31.8. I currently skate the 8.25 which measures in at 31.25 but their shape guide says 31.6

also anyone notice shecklers new company (sandlot times) has an 8.5 14.25 wb and 31.1 length. his graphics are horrible but the shapes sound interesting. will not send 80 on his brand tho

It has been said that PS Stix decks are usually measured with the concave, so when measured in the normal way straight across, they will always come up shorter.  That makes sense with what you saw listed and what you measured.

Re Sandlot Times - Curious about who makes his boards, said to be made in USA, but that has been said before for other brands that clearly get their wood from outside of the US, but either way, I am wondering what length of nose and tail that adds up to, as it just seems too short, going by normal dimensions.

That is not to say that it doesn't work really well for some people, but a board I have (unskated for the shop) was an 8 x 31.4 with a 14 wb and reasonable kicks, maybe 6.8 nose and 6.4 tail if I recall correctly.

Any shorter than that in overall length with a longer wheelbase makes me wonder.

* For reference, truck area is 4.25 so all those for that board add up to pretty much that, but some other boards just don't seem to add up on paper.

I talk too much about skateboards.  Sorry.
