beach bum seems more functional
while cool-guying is a real phenomenon, studies show that 83% of all cool-guying incidents can be attributed to the cool-guyee being an awkward weirdo

Is tic tacking just a part of life when on Venture lows? I can’t get mine any looser on their stock bushings

Not if you like going straight, it ain’t!
But seriously, it’s really more of a feature than a bug.
Maybe try the loosey-goosey conversion kit w/ the lower top bushing?

i tic tac a lot more when i use venture / thunder, especially since mine are 8" / 8.25". if you had the 5.8 or 6.1 you probably would have a good turn.

I've skated 5,6 and 5,8 a ton and the difference does not make you tic tac more or less how loose you have either does as well as just how much you need to carve out of tricks.

This is driving me crazy, what were these lil fellas from?
Was it pig wheels? Or was it a Foundation thing?
I'd swear I remember seeing a deck with them on it?
Anybody know where I can find a better or more complete pic of them?

I had a Life Skateboards 8.625 twin with wheel wells that I liked a lot. I think they make one that's like 8.125 or something like that.

I saw a Roger twin in 8.5 with wheel wells some months ago, but I couldn't find it again in a minute of googling just now. Might be worth looking into though.

HLC does twin 8.25 - 8.75 with wheel wells, but only on Jart / Cruzade decks at the moment with the worst graphics.

Plus side the Sk8Mafia Brandon Turner twin looks sick and is available in 8.25 / 8.5

I actually just got that same deck last week. My local skate shop is closing sadly and I wanted to support one last time. I love the graphic and I have never tried wheel wells before. I can't wait to set it up.

is it possible to learn proper airs on a 6ft ramp that almost goes to vert? it's the biggest wooden ramp around. i do frontside ollies over coping sometimes but i pop when doing them, i want to learn the correct way but don't know where to start and a smaller miniramp seems like the wrong way.

You might try grabbing the nose on bs kickturns and then 'jump' a little so that your back truck wheels lose contact.

But better keep on ollieing into your airs.  At least when going frontside it's pretty natural this way.

Anyone had PIG WHEELS recently? Are they just stock urethane and just cashing in on the nostalgia / graphic, or is there something more to them?

Anybody got some legit reasons not to support Globe? Im thinking about buying a pair.

It seems on here the general consensus is nobody wears them/theyre dead, but this is cool to me, I love to be different. I also genuinely like how they look [the old models], I like fat potato shoes. Im not worried about being a tech wizard right now [cope], im more of a hucker/hesh type guy.

Anyway whats the word on bro? Skater owned right? Been around? Controled by Blackrock or something? Not doing anything for the community? Racist/sexism?
good sig coming soon

Globe is publicly traded, owned by your 401k (maybe).

They are not great. I know someone that works at a shop that gets them for free and he trades them for F4 and sands the graphics off and pretends they're Pig.

When I lived in an oil town a few years back, I rode a set when my F4s gave out because it was either those, Bones 100s or board brand wheels. I thought they were decent/above average for what they were - they’re just standard wheels but they get the job done and I enjoyed my time with them. I wish I could say they offered more because I have a sweet spot for Pig but F4s are probably the better all round product just for the flat spot resistance

My friend skates globe religiously and they're made of some very cheap material from what I can tell, they always blow out / get destroyed very quickly (month or two of kickflips and he's doing it with his sock). I've seen his sole become detached and crumble on separate occasions too. They do look cool tho, he skates the ones with the air bubble on the heel.

I don't wanna discourage you from gettin the swag tho. I haven't heard anything shady about the business and he says they skate goood.
