skatesamples told me the short is in, and long is out due to low demand. "no longer being offered for samples." idk if that means brands won't be offering it either? maybe not as much.
that's the only shape i skate too. when SS told me that i was horrified and they were kind enough to gather up 10 for me which are the decks i warped by keeping them upright since i don't usually store decks

but i've kept them pressed since then and I think they're actually fixed. i could send you maybe up to 3 or 4 at cost + shipping if you're desperate for some of that shape. i would expect antihero will always have at least the orange eagle though.
also i've seen opera sometimes have 15 wheelbase 9's, a lot of them are shorter too so double check, but they definitely have 15 sometimes
It sucks that short skaters stole our dimensions and mutated it into the bastardized stub that we see today. The orange Eagle and BA better keep it real. The T-Funkification of 9” boards in my opinion, blows.
I get it, as I have both the orange eagle and the stubby versions of DLX boards in 9" width, which are two very different boards to ride, but I think it would be good to have two or more options in every width anyway, even if it might cause a few issues.
Then to think that 9 x 33 / 15" shape has been around for a good while now and if sales have been declining, at least some boards are still out there and seem easy enough to get, compared to no woodshops or brands making them at all anymore.
In saying that I am still yet to see or try the newer R shape that they have, only skated the orange eagle and the Anchor shape from DLX which is 9 x 32 with 14.3 or so wb, which was too stubby for my liking, but maybe something a little more in between could work well enough.
I had also seen Creature still makes their own 9 x 33 with 15 wb, as did a couple of other brands, but I am most comfortable on BBS wood / concaves, so I hadn't mentioned them before.
If you guys are in USA you could check with some shops, who had posted they had shop boards from Generator with that 9 x 33 / 15 shape, eg Black Hole shop, as per the Woodshop shop boards listing.
https://www.slapmagazine.com/index.php?topic=120409.msg3729105#msg3729105* It might be a bit old now, for some shops, but that would still be worth checking as shop boards are cheaper than pro boards.
Edit: Said Black Hole shop above, but maybe had meant Black Market - both listed as BBS for shop boards though.
