I recently bought some element deck and there are several that are from HLC and others from China. Can they be Excel?
given the engraving of 100% Premium North American Maple, there is some cheap deals with this brand,is crazy

Re Element boards of unknown origin from China - there is a good chance they could be from there, but there is also a good chance they could be from somewhere else in China, as there are so many places now doing boards.

The completes that came in a box had info for Excel on them, so they were confirmed, but I really don't know.


DSM (Dwindle) are a much stiffer board, so not there, when comparing a lot of DSM boards to other China made boards.

Other somewhat known woodshops like Dalian Huahong Sports Tool Co., Ltd, Zhongshan Jeeping Wooden Industrial & Sport Co., Ltd, and as you said, Excel don't have a specific product I could say were this or that, the way other non Asian woodshops are a lot easier to identify, which is why I usually just put "China" when there is a "Made in China" sticker on it, but not a confirmation of where or which woodshop it comes from.


There seem like so many woodshops in China now too, finding more every other time I do a search, but as to which ones are making a lot more boards, compared to others, I don't have enough information to provide any more details.

Last time anyone said they got one, they were still BBS, so you should be good there.

I had seen those newer boards with this and that listed with them, so didn't know but I wonder if they would reply if you asked them directly.

There were people who worked there on here before who did say they were all BBS a while back.

The 8.5 is a good one, 32.3 or so long with 14.5 wb, but the Generator blank in 8.38 is only 14.38 in the wheelbase, so not the usual DLX size / shape that is also used by Baker / Deathwish, DGK and some others too.

I skate both of those and have lots of them, so I like to compare them whenever I see any others too.

Graphic is definitely dope!  But I agree, not a fan of clutch decks.  I had a hopps/quartersnacks collab deck that was an 8.1 clutch deck... thought I was going to love it, but ended up absolutely hating it... tried to ride it for a week and a half and ended up giving it away... it be like that sometimes...

I didn't bring an angle finder, but the top concave and the kicks were both pretty mellow, especially compared to all the BBS boards on the wall. The PS-made Toy Machine boards were pretty mellow as well, especially the 8.25s.
