Took mine out tonight for the first time. Went to a local IKEA after-hours, with intention of riding the polarizer a bit, and then skating the curbs on my normal board. And guess what? I never even touched my regular board. Was having WAAAAY too much fun bombing around the place on the polarizer. Now I can't wait for the snow to melt, so I can try it on some more interesting terrain.
I got the convex one, and man, it felt great under me...almost like it was ergonomically designed to fit the curve/arch of my feet. I'm curious to try a flat one now, but feel like a concave one would be horrible. I also got one of the non-fiberglass ones. It still has some flex, but I know it's no where near the flex of the others ones, which I am also curious to now try. Wheelbase on mine is 16.25". The Mini Mauler is 18" wb. Does anyone know the WB of the fiberglass ones? It's not listed on the Heated Wheel website, but the they (flex) are a bit shorter than others...wondering if WB is also shorter.
Anyway, super, super fun toy. Wish I got one sooner!
