Wife set up some kind of porn filter on our wifi for all devices except for my phone. Said it was "for the kids".

I can barely see smut that small! I've taken to fapping on Google image search although I'm stuck with models I know the name of - and that knowledge ends somewhere with late 2000's Score and ATK models.

VPN g, i somehow got 50gb m/o free with Windscribe

I was so wrong when I said I was feeling better... I haven't been vomiting, but my legs are constantly sore/feeling cramped and I can't stop coughing.. I really hope I don't need to go to a doctor, but I feel like absolute shit.

That sucks. Get in the router and change that shit. I’m gnarring you out of empathy but you better make a move to improve your situation. My first gnar ever!

Somebody prank called me last night. It was from a blocked number, so I didn’t pick up. They left a message. It appeared to be a pretty well rehearsed bit, and I’m genuinely bummed out I didn’t pick it up.

theres nails sticking up from planks behind my house and I went outside to get some washing off the line when I had just woken up and I didn't have shoes on and I ripped a fucking huge chunk out of the sole of my foot, so deep I could see the different layers of skin. guess I'm not skating for a little while. I ripped all the nails out straight afterwards

My favorite bar fucked up my tab and charged me $1,009 instead of $19, and because I had gotten paid that next day I didn't notice until I hit my overdraft limit and was $950 in the hole. I got it mostly fixed, my money will be back in my account by tomorrow but idk if the bank is going to reimburse the $300 worth of overdraft fees.

I have no bad feelings towards the bar since accidents happen and they did everything to fix it as soon as I showed up with my bank statement but this is not how I wanted to start the year

you go into the bank and explain the situation to them? if not, go do that asap. it's not your fault that the mistake was made and you shouldn't be responsible to pay any type of fees that you didn't cause. don't let them take you money.

Girlfriend is undergoing her tests for the cancer again.
Every 6 months it's 3 weeks of pure hell:

'Will it be back', 'Will she be ok?'...

The stress is unbearable, so it  shwos in other forms. Rash break-outs, depressed etc.
I can't even describe how I feel.

This sucks, I feel very very helpless:(

You’ve never had a conversation where someone convinced you at least partially of their argument?

That might mean you are close minded, or only argue with idiots.

I feel like conversations/arguments shouldn’t be about “winning” or “losing”, they should be about sharing information and perspectives

As soon as I noticed I went into the bank to get a copy of my statement. I ended up calling the corporate line for my bank along with the owner of the bar to really drive home that it wasn't my fault. Thankfully they refunded every fee, but I was super stressed for this last week

My epilepsy has been playing up today, for the most part after getting on meds after one huge fit a few years back I've had nothing save for a few minor episodes (going hazy, deja vu etc) but this arvo was pretty intense.

Forgot a heap of shit I was supposed to remember literally minutes earlier and a few weird blackouts.
Scares me cos I remember nothing about last time just waking up being loaded into an ambulance.

My best friend’s deep in a “creative/artistic/philosophical” phase right now and starting to get pretty kooky.

I’ve known him for 15 years and he’s neither creative, artistic nor philosophical, but he’s been getting weird since October. I wonder if the drug use and heavy drinking from his college days is slowly getting to him. He doesn’t really do drugs anymore, he’s replaced that with extra booze. Kinda worried to be honest.

My fiance has this for ovarian/cervical cancer, 2 scares, Has to be tested yearly.
It's the worst, especially as there's largely nothing you can do but show support.

Feel for you dude, it's the worst.

how old are you guys? some people go through a weird re-inventive phase after college. it's a strangely competitive phase in life for a lot of people and many have to look for ways to make themselves seem interesting and cultured. by the time you hit 30 you realize that nobody cares how unique and different you are and you can stop trying so hard.

I 2nd that, I had a best friend do that same thing after college late 20s (maybe that's not your age and this is irrelevant) and I got a little worried.  I found success just checking in a lot and being. astounding board for him until he kind of bounced back into how he was before.  Agree it's a stressful time and sometimes it seems that if you're not crushing it like you see everyone doing on social media or otherwise, you might as well go a totally different way to not feel in their shadow

We’re both going to be 31 in February, that’s why I’m getting worried.

We all go through weird phases, I know that, but this feels different. I know something’s up but he keeps telling me everything’s fine. He carries a notebook full of gibberish, random words and ‘deep thoughts’ with him everywhere, writes shitty lyrics to folk songs he wants to record even though he can’t play the guitar to save his life and has been drinking a ton of wine since early December. He’s been wanting to lose weight and get into better shape lately (good), but has basically made his diet consist of carrots, red peppers, and red wine and weird yoga poses that don’t work (i’m not knocking it, yoga has helped me a lot for jiu-jitsu). I showed up to his place the other day and at 6pm he was already done with his second bottle of wine and about to start his third until I talked him into taking it easy and to have some coffee. The rest of the evening was him being philosophical and trying to be ‘deep’ and me changing the subject to bring him back down to earth . I wanted to leave but didn’t want to leave him alone.

I talked to his mother about it and she told me ‘oh he’s just artistic’. No the fuck he isn’t, and she knows it.

damn, that kind of wine drinking is no joke. two bottles would knock my ass down for sure. hope he pulls it together.
