Not sure why you guys actually care what he said as opposed to what he wears? At one point a long time ago he said he can't skate vulc, now he obviously can skate them and likes skating them. This isn't a fucking MJ corporate sponsor backpedal, he's just skating in some shoes.

I remember in an older Jake Johnson interview he said he "skated a pair of vulcanized shoes once" and they hurt his knees/back so he would never skate a pair again. Always thought it was funny cause he's had a ton of clips in vulcs over the years and even had a Jack Purcell colorway recently. But yeah, I never judged him for going back on his word or something I just thought it was kinda interesting.

probably similar situation to someone when they say they only stick with one type of sole (cup or vulc) and you catch them skating the other because they couldn't really tell the difference upon purchase.

Those faux vulc soles really be tricking ppl sometimes lol

Seriously. You can skate in a combat boot but if the insole sucks then you're not gonna have any real support. I found a pair of the Reynolds G6 in my closet and the insole might as well have been a wet paper towel. It was garbage.

But also, more importantly, sometimes people change their minds.

They do and it’s okay.

But yes, they weren’t the best. I threw in some Game Changers and it made a huge difference. I will also like to say that with the stock ones they were nice until your arch starts hurting (my feet can be bipolar).

I buy my true size but the fit is between tts and a half size up. They have a grey with black sole coming out too. Both already available on SPOT
