Yeah, that's what I was getting at... lower impact leading to skating vulcs. Nothing new to say here but I really would love to see what a Reynolds Vans shoe looks like.

He’s been skating for a while and jumping off of stuff requires some control.

Also, a Reynolds Vans sounds interesting. I’d expect some sort of inner sock like the Reynolds G6 people loved.

Not sure why you guys actually care what he said as opposed to what he wears? At one point a long time ago he said he can't skate vulc, now he obviously can skate them and likes skating them. This isn't a fucking MJ corporate sponsor backpedal, he's just skating in some shoes.

I remember in an older Jake Johnson interview he said he "skated a pair of vulcanized shoes once" and they hurt his knees/back so he would never skate a pair again. Always thought it was funny cause he's had a ton of clips in vulcs over the years and even had a Jack Purcell colorway recently. But yeah, I never judged him for going back on his word or something I just thought it was kinda interesting.

probably similar situation to someone when they say they only stick with one type of sole (cup or vulc) and you catch them skating the other because they couldn't really tell the difference upon purchase.
