that's harsh. i got the black/white pair from the Z for like $24 last year online. Replace the insoles and they're fine.

I got them from the same sale and they’re still going strong. Even Emerica’s basic vulc outsole lasts longer than vans for me. But I set them aside for now to skate these Figgy Dose’s.

Gamechangers are their top of the line. Kingfoam Orthotics is 1 step down, almost as good just lacking the mold-ability with heat?
Low profile skips the black forefoot pad on the bottom and the bottom layer seems to be compressed differently so the heal is about the same thickness/height as forefoot. Regular version has a slightly thicker heal but forefoot pad kinda balances it out. Ignoring the forefoot pad the low profile forefoot area is a tiny bit thinner, but looked like <1mm.

I think they're almost flat with a mellow heel cup, same shock absorbent foam though. Orthotics seemed to be the stuff ppl raved about so I got those, regulars and gamechangers.

thanks will take your word for it. skating these lucas premiere is too much for me, might as well be skating vulcs. missing tricks on flatground sends the shock through my body if i land anywhere close to flat footed. hopefully the insoles help until i get new shoes

cant really stand FP branding, designs, website, product descriptions..etc.  just doesn’t seem well thought out. I dunno. Even the product descriptions I’ve seen Are Typed Like This With Caps.

For what it’s worth, count me in towards not recommending the kingfoam  ELITE. Didn’t like them either

I've had good luck with the footprint hi profile kingfoam flat insoles (7mm). All their others including the ones you bake, I've hated, but the flat ones I've liked. My biggest problem has been what they call customer service.

I asked a question or responded to someone on social media prior to getting the flat insoles about my bad luck with the "nicer" insoles being rock hard and never softening up, and their social guy's solution was to basically tell me I suck and must not be using them right, not that I could have a defective product. It's a great way to win over customers (and yet my dumbass did buy another pair of insoles from them after that).

Yeah, I get bummed not seeing random awesome deals on the rags, but I think it may be due to seasonal stuff. Like we're in a new season now and they sold off a lot of last season before the new year... here's to hoping!
