Havent had 440s but 213 were pretty much true to size, maybe a bit on the big side (or maybe it just felt that way because the toe box is super wide). I definitely recommend investing in a shoe stretcher though, they're like $10 on amazon and if you're unsure you can always err on the small side and then stretch them out. They're a godsend if you have Flintstone feet

It's legit. Joe's has been around forever and I've bought stuff from them before. I think I remember reading they have some deal with New Balance where they're the exclusive outlet or something so they get first crack at all the deadstock. I haven't seen numerics on there very often but they always have good deals on regular NBs. I'm guessing this colorway just didn't sell well (it does kind of suck) and they just got sick of seeing piles of them sitting around the warehouse.

Yeah I totally forgot they existed until someone else mentioned using one. Great investment if you have wide feet. Just remember to take it slow, you can always stretch more but you can't stretch less. Usually takes a couple overnight sessions to get them where I want.

This is great to hear. I was actually looking at this exact colorway as a replacement for my Nike red Killshots but didn't want to spent 60-75 dollars, so all this is perfect. Thanks for the reassurance.

Picked up 4 pair of the 440s for under 80 bucks because it's a frankly absurd deal.  Seems nuts, since I haven't ever tried a pair, but the 288s were the single most comfortable out of the box cupsole I have ever tried on.  If the 440s fit half as well, they should feel amazing. 

Once again, shouts to our boy Buttfart for nosing out a good one.

Found like 6 pairs of these in various adult sizes at Marshalls for 24.99 each. They were in the womens section if you have trouble finding them.

For me the 440s take a bit more breaking in but are just as, if not more, comfortable than 288s after break in.

I'm from New Zealand, but I live in the Northern California. Shit even if I was in New Zealand and shipping was gnarly this probably still would be a decent deal lol.
