The number of times I have thought and definitely heard others say "I loved that (whatever it was) and now I want another one I cannot get it!" so anything I found that I really liked, I bought them all, whenever and where ever possible over the years.  Sometimes it comes back to bite me as I have changed size of boards from 8.125 to 8.38 / 8.5 so I still have a couple of boxes of the 8.125 AH, but I know I can always pass them on to others as they need them.

I think I was almost the only person who still had a whole box of Indy trucks and another one of Spitfire Formula Four in the country during the pandemic, but wasn't about to be passing them out any time soon, unless it was to people I know who really wanted them.

There are definitely boxes of things I realise I will never wear or use though.

Being a psych major and having to deal with this personally also, this has to do with security. Making sure you have enough. I grew up in a poor household living paycheck to paycheck and single parent.

This! My girlfriend moved in with me earlier this year and she doesn’t get why I keep a lot of stuff and drag my feet to keep it. Clothes busted shoes. I won’t throw bread away unless it visibly looks like it’s gone bad ie mold. Like wasting food fucks with me.

do they fit true to size? I got a pair of Berles recently that I really like but feel about a half size too big.

Yes they fit true to size are a tad narrow in toebox area if you have wide feet. I have average feet but like a snug fit so they’re perfect. The mesh at front just needs to be shoe goo’d instantly or you’ll tear them in an hour. The grip on bottom lasted 2 months on my last pair too it’s way nicer than standard waffle

Just to contribute, the mesh on mine never ripped - never shoe goo'd. Lasted 2 months with no holes. It just depends on the person/tech.

The mesh part near the front where the shoe creases hits griptape right away and is like tissue paper. They’re comfortable shoes but I have no idea how major flaws like that can just slip by a team of people designing and weartesting shoes that go for $100.
