Slap a tree frog on it and I’m FUCKING BUYING. No brainer

Gonna need a full part from him in this head to toe. I hope my eyes don’t deceive me, because the colors look perfect.

tree frogs and tiago make too much sense
well done to all involved
while cool-guying is a real phenomenon, studies show that 83% of all cool-guying incidents can be attributed to the cool-guyee being an awkward weirdo

I should probably look this up but I feel like tree frogs are a species native to Brazil in the tropical areas. Maybe that's why they did this design?

The colors look incredible and maybe I'm biased because I love green, but I'd cop if they fit me  better.

Anyone else notice how the 1010 and other NB cups fit tight in the mid foot area laterally (instep on inside across to the outside just before your pinky bone starts)? It's only that spot since the rest of the shoe fits nicely on me.

just got these today. at an absurdly cheap price. 4th pair in 10 months. Lmao
This has me cracking up, what exactly does Black Flag have to do with measuring your dick starting behind ya nuts?

Skateboarding is nothing but a game to find the right fits to appear like you're a proportional human being instead of a midget or a giant.

are they designed to be skated?
these mid soles look better than the og 440s

You can definitely skate the 440-trail but they're also a very functional casual hiking shoe.  I've actually beaten the hell out of the early ones I got here in the office and they held up very nicely.  We have some future ones coming with much more weatherized materials but these first batches very much do what they're meant to do.

I'm going to complain and make this post daily until NB listens

Release an all black 440 high colorway please (no contrast stitching, no hiking mode)

These came out last year or so?

These were quite literally perfect. I found one pair of these in like new condition earlier this year and they're absolutely perfect. Please put these out again

Got one coming with a white N on it for Summer 23...hopefully that will satisfy your needs until an all black hits again.

Anybody here putting off the N on new balances? Rocking the 5th pair of 272s in a row, horrible colorway this time but shot it so cheap that I had to buy it. I’m thinking of grinding off the N this time. Cannot deal with it anymore, especially on the 272

grinding off?? there's a tool called a seam ripper which will easily remove the stitched on N

I do it on a lot of my 440's. I don't actually mind the N itself but sometimes it really detracts from the colorway. I think it would be best if it always blends in with the side panel or is at most an adjacent color but it almost never looks good as a solid alternate color.

I cut the Ns off  some 212s with a box cutter blade. Easy enough. I'm not opposed to the N but some shoes look better with a total minimalist look.

That's an example of a color where I would cut the N off.

The Jake Darwin ones were super clean and didn't seem to sell well. CCS and some shops on Parade have been blowing them up. I loved them.

Looks like the Westgate 913 is back in production. A better shoe than the 508 in my opinion

https://www.newbalance.com/pd/nb-numeric-brandon-westgate-913/NM913V1-42810.html

FYI guys...if you're a fan of the 913's, please grab these NOW.  Our factory had moved on from the machine used to make part of this sole unit for this shoe specifically so this will most likely be the LAST colorway we are able to make of them.  So if you like them, I would suggest stocking up before they're gone.  No new colors coming.  Sorry!

i'm assuming you guys own the mold to the outsole since you guys have had the shoe in production for a few years now, hypothetically couldn't you guys just send it to another factory and continue production of the 913?

Cant believe how solid the outsole is on these shoes without sacrificing board feel

Lol. Eldee is definitely a human. He’s like a raider on horse back who’s kinda scared to do battle. Somehow he closes his eyes and swings his sword wildly and wakes up in a pile of dead orcs.

I'm sure this has been answered too many times already but, do the 440s work well with a wide foot? And y'all going tts? Appreciate the help!
