@Big Baby Jesus I generally try to avoid anything over 14.5 but there are exceptions. Always rode the Assault Winsor decks (80s shape was a 15” and his regular was a 15.5”) and I’m riding a Scram now that’s 15”.

Although 14.25-14.5 is my sweet spot.

Woah that looks wild and dangerous. And I love your grip job there. Is that setup for curb demolishing?

Thanks. It’s an all around board. All of mine are. That said I’m old so it’s mostly flat, curbs, and mini.

This is sick, I LOVE punk points. I wish more people skated them, but I get it since it's a credit card nightmare.

never skated one, i don't see the upside, i guess it might be less drag on wallrides but then again i'd go with a shorter but more round nose.

Honestly it's one of those shapes that don't have any advantages, but they're just fun to ride.

Mad fucking heat from BL

https://blacklabelskates.bigcartel.com/product/john-lucero-street-thing-blue-stain

As well as a orange stain and grey dip version.

I'm in pain as I don't have any practical reason to buy these.
I ran a couple of the original versions of these back in the day & remember loving them, but this shape is def not THAT one. Still, the nostalgia for that graphic is creating a strong pull, so, if you'll forgive me, I will be exiting this thread immediately so as not to spend money on more closet clogging wood laminate.
Somebody buy this thang & post a clip riding it for me, eh?

I wanna play you in a game of SKATE for the right to continue talking shit on me… You think you got me?

Getting myself some risers after a nasty wheelbite Slam the other day. Anyone tried 1/4 inch risers?

Riding indy ti's & 55mm wheels right now, wondering if 1/8 risers is enough

I’ve always ridden 1/4 risers even when I skated 56mm wheels

Love the extra room to turn and ollies are big and fat

1/8" risers will put you at 55.5ish (slightly over) so you should be alright. If your wheels are a high 90 duro you should be fine but ya know wax them wells. If you've got cruiser wheels then maybe go with 1/4" just to be safe.

Major shoutout for that Kilroy grip job.

I can't ride punk points when I still like to flip my board.
Once sliced half my leg open due to a badly caught heelflip ^^

But killer shape mate.

Corgis are like the early 90's setups of the dog world, big round body on little wheels.

Get hungry on it!

~9.85" deck (forgot the exact measurements) with 14-14.5" wb I cut/finished myself (set at 14.5" rn)

US Indy 169

Dogtwon 60mm 97a single conical wheels (pretty stoked to try something different)

Bones Swiss

1/4" mini logo riser

Indy 1 1/4" hardware

MOB (sloppy application/cut but w/e it works)

Had my first session on it today. It was fun. Spent more time trying to break in the trucks. But I love the squared off nose on this thing. Might switch over to 56mm keyframes as the Chargers felt like I was bouncing off the curbs.

Reposting this from the set up thread

Had to retire my loveseat with the grip that had my pup painted on it. But I had another at the ready. Not really loving the short ass wheelbase but until the my next two decks come in I don’t mind skating a fresh one.

Girl loveseat 9.00 Simon bannerot
thunder 161 tiLights with the front truck top bushing cut down and no washers. Back truck has no top washers.
Spitfire f4 54mm 99a conical fulls
Bones big balls
Pyramid country grip, gotta support the homies
Thunder 7/8th Allen hardware.

Well I have like 9 Andy Anderson dated flight decks.
