I have a theory that involves the skateboard industry. Directly and indirectly manipulating the idea of skateboarding in peoples minds to keep them involved in the idea of the skateboard industry and culture. Through means of media perpetuating images and personality's that expand on skateboarding figures. In the same way the entertainment industry creates TV and movie personality's to sell ideas and images of life. I think that is whats killing individualism in skateboarding. I think they know this and do it to sell products obviously. But it was not always a for front of thought I think it started off more innocent back in the day but all the young guys pushing it got old and saw what was really going on. I.E. the all seeing eye. They taunt us too which is fucked up.
