I had pretty gnarly knee surgery in March, so I've been tinkering with setups, doing Grosso-style sticker jobs and just rolling around as much as I can. Here's what's up;
Polar Dane
Indy 149s on Real wooden 1/8" risers (very glad someone makes these risers. They feel great.)
Bones mediums
Diamond bolts
OJ 55mm Super Juice (amazing wheel)
Bronson G3 (better than Raws so far)
The combo of short wheelbase deck, Indys and the OJs makes this a crazy fun sportscar of a skateboard!
Antihero Cardiel Huffer
Indy 159s
Indy inverted baseplates, Real 1/8" wood risers, Diamond bolts and Bones mediums
54mm F4 conicals
Bronson Raws (meh...)
Longer wheelbase is very stable, to the point that I wonder if Ace classics might nimble it up a bit. Shape is super nice, as is the IV concave.
Heroin big gold egg
Ace AF1 77s
Shake Junt bolts
52mm F4 OGs
Bronson Raws
Big ol' wheelchair of a board. I like the big board/small wheel vibe and the Ace trucks feel great. Way more lively than my old 215s.
Anyway, that's the "rolling around and doing no tricks" report! Cheers!
EDIT; Guys I'm sorry I got my trucks all confused... I've corrected the post. The Huffer is 8.75"-ish over the trucks and my 159s fit perfectly.
