Mike anderson jeans are great. If only they had 30” inseam on the 36waist

I'm looking to buy some new black pants. My go-to's are 550 and 560, but they are worn so bad now after 5 years...
Levis 56X are ok, but their fabric is so thin, and Carhartts are too short. So is Polar pants. Suggestions for baggy black pants for a tall fella?

old navy makes up to 38” inseam
a pair just arrived in 36 for $15 plus shipping

what i can firmly recommend is wranglers
makes up to a 44” inseam
cowboy cuts are my shit, very similar to 550s fit wise

while cool-guying is a real phenomenon, studies show that 83% of all cool-guying incidents can be attributed to the cool-guyee being an awkward weirdo

Redkap does a select your own inseam, the leg opening is slightly bigger to accommodate workboots, but if your looking for a decent relaxed pair of black jeans they do the job

Just bought some ccs baggy straight pants in the olive and the over dyed navy. Gotta say I love the fit. I got mine in 38x30 (I’m 6’5”) but the olive ones are slightly smaller than the navy ones but not in a bad way. I’d actually say the olive ones fit me better and the navy ones are bigger in the waist and length. But for the price I think they are worth it. Also I saw there’s some stuff on here regarding the volcom billows but thought I’d share my experience. Got them for sale for like $35 at my local when volcoms parent company filed bankruptcy. I got the black and the bold blue. The black ones I love. Size wise and the denim are nice. But the bold blue ones kinda suck. They are that shitty think stretchy denim which I hate and also they taper from the knee down really weird. Unlike my black ones which feel more straight fit. For the price I still wear them but now with the new ccs pants I have a feeling they are gonna fall out of my rotation

Never had any Carhartt, recommendation of models so I can check on Vinted?
Sir, I'm going to politely, but firmly, ask you and your common sense to leave this establishment.

Are they actually true to size in the waist? I have two pairs of the Jamie Foy pant in a size 34 and one of them fit perfectly while the other  pair fit pretty snug. I know there's some margin for error between colors but it's a pretty noticable difference.

If you're asking about WIP, any of the double knee pants are great. The OG Double Knee Pant has the hammer loop, but there's a less baggy pair called the Walter Double Knee Pant that comes without the loop.

Any WIP product with OG in the title means that it's a wider fit or looser. Most of them fit a size above the tag, but I've had one pair that matched the tag size.

Cookman Semiwide size large.
I’ve been digging them. Loose, but not too loose.
Regular cookman’s are kind of slim fitting. There’s a wide version which is too much for me. $50 a pair isn’t too bad. I’ve picked up a few pairs recently.

For awhile I was wearing mostly 874 Flexes and they were fairly consistent for the most part. But the skateboarding line of clothing has been all over the place for fits and size.

but hey, at least it's double the price

I just checked mine and it looks like they're "carhartt bn0151-m" which is loose fit canvas carpenter pants. They're plenty baggy, way lighter and less stiff than the duck cloth versions, and decently cheap.
If you see offensive comments, just let it go into one eye and let it out of the other eye, no tears and not sadness or anger.

I got Carhartt wip simple and casual pants, both a lot baggier than they look in the photos.

Do any of you fellas have any recent experience with Ben Davis Gorilla Cuts?

Finally starting to see them in ready availability here in Aus (without the big sizes immediately selling out or being nonexistent above a 36) and I want to know if it's worth it before I pull the trigger.

Size up as standard?

Does anyone know what pants Casper crooked has been wearing lately? They look so good but I’m confused on what they are bc they’re too loose to be 501’s but they don’t taper like 550’s

i think theyre vintage 550s since those dont taper as much especially if you size them up similar to vincent touzery. i also recall seeing somewhere that he gets his pants tailored slightly? he also wears the supreme regular jean which is based on a vintage 550.

I get Tim Robinson vibes from the brand website but curious if they're actually heavyweight.

Anyone seen the Polar 91 jeans in a shop yet?  Curious what the fit is like and how they compare to the 93s.

Anyone try out any of the pants from Silak? Interested in the fitting and $120's a bit steep to "experiment" with...

posted this a while ago in the post your fit thread.
I've only mostly worn them around the house, haven't skated in them, but I like the fit. Nice and baggy, but not crazy. I'm wearing XL, I'm 6'2", 34 inch waist.
Worth it if you've got the means.

I second this. I wear a 38 in most pants, but ordered size 36" in the '93's because everyone said they fit a size bigger than tagged. They fit fine in the waist, but they're a little snug in the butt/thighs/hips, so they fit me more like a classic straight cut like Dickies 874's than a loose/baggy fit. They're a really nice cut/shape, but they're a bit snug up there for skating/moving, so I just wear them to work, etc. I think they'd be my favourite pants if they made them in 38.

anybody know how the cromers fit in the waist? i normally would go for a 30 in pants that arent vanity sizing, and the huf site says a 28 tag measures 30 waist and so on... i hate when the waist is too big tbh i like a little loose but not requiring a cranked belt. should i go with 28 if im looking for a 30 waist?

I would say just get your regular size in Cromers. In my experience, they are a little too big in the waist and too long when I get them, but they're 100% cotton, so they're going to shrink a bit. They're good after a couple times through the washer/dryer, and I think they'd be too small after shrinkage if I sized down.

I would say Cromers have a little more room in the thighs/crotch area, and a bit more taper toward the ankle than '93's. the standard inseam on them is maybe an inch or two longer than '93's as well. The pleats at the waist make them so they aren't falling down, despite the extra room up top.

They're patterned after 'baggy' fit Silvertabs from the '90's. I have a pair of those in the same size as my Cromers, and the measurements are almost identical. If we're comparing to Polar jeans, I would say they're closer to Big Boys than '93's in terms of overall looseness, but the pleats and the taper give them a bit of a nicer shape so they don't swallow your feet (Big Boys are a little too big and shapeless for my taste).

thanks for this info. i found a pic of them with measurements on ebay and the waist seems to be TTS regardless of what the online says. gonna try em out. been looking for something inbetween 93 and big boy
