Clint Eastwood sucks. He's built this reputation as some sort of tough guy but he's a pampered Hollywood crybaby always bitching about whatever Republicans bitch about. I don't like sour skateboards mainly because it's a parody brand. The team is amazing but I'd wish they would skate more somewhere else than Spain.

Anything youtube is extremely corny except Send Saturdays.

Also my main grief with sour is their branding not the skateboarding.

the face zoom will never go away. in fact, it will be used even more than it already is. every clip in every video will start and end with a facezoom. it will get to the point where skate videos wont show skating anymore, just the entire clip is the skater's face. full length videos will be nothing but face zooms.

This is shockingly untrue and a bad opinion. He's had regular success as a director for almost 50 years, and has worked in pretty much every genre. He also composed a number of scores for his films. Have you seen anything he is in or directed other then the man with no name films? Just cause you don't like his acting doesn't mean he sucks. this is in fact an unpopular opinion

I don’t disagree that Clint is a world class right wing asshole, but he’s one of the best directors working today. “Richard Jewell” was a master work, and one of the only American films with anything to say in a decade

nah cause see for example: heelflip. heelflips are easy for me and pretty much my main flip trick, but i hate the way they look except for when krod does them. a fucked up wallie still looks tons better than a perfect shane switch flip.

My one buddy almost exclusively skates 8.5 fa/hockey decks and it feels very strange. As someone used to narrower boards with mellower nose and tail shapes, his board feels foreign and would take a lot of getting used to. Don't see the appeal, but whatever floats yer boat...

hmmm, if i remember correctly i had a bunch of alien and habitat boards around the time mosaic came out and the noses were pretty square but still had a bit of a taper on the tail. they also had super steep concave, or at least compared to girl/chocolate boards. does anyone else remember this or am i just nuts? maybe if FA/Hockey scaled their sizes down to like 7.625-7.875, the argument that theyre the same shape as old alien boards might be true?

I've had 15+ quasi boards and a few FA that looked the same, but the FA were steeper, longer wheelbase and very hard to skate, for me anyway.
The "rectangular" Quasi 8.5 with the 14.25 wb is my favourite shape, based on how it performs. I couldn't give a fuck what other people's boards look like, if it works for you, awesome.
