It is a rad board though.

I think someone drilled a Gonz sweatpants down to 14.0 wheelbase a while back, but I couldn't find it when I looked.

I seem to be finding a lot more shorter wheelbase boards lately, but I know things are moving that way.

Some like these (currently on a decent sale on Boardworld.com.au for the AU buyers):

https://www.boardworld.com.au/products/santa-cruz-transcend-hands-vx-8.8-skateboard-deck

SANTA CRUZ TRANSCEND HANDS VX 8.8 SKATEBOARD DECK

Size: 8.8" x 31.95"
Wheel Base: 14.25"

https://www.boardworld.com.au/products/santa-cruz-dressen-seeker-9.0-skateboard-deck

SANTA CRUZ DRESSEN SEEKER 9.0 SKATEBOARD DECK

Size: 9.0" x 32.15"
Wheel Base: 14.25"

Seeing these, the NHS thread, and seeing some other SC boards in person and how tapered the kicks are makes me REALLY want to try one.

I brought this home today.  Anti-Hero Beach Bum.  9.5" x 30.44", 14.2" wb.

Has anyone here mentioned the shaped Dan Drehobl Krooked boards?  They're 9.25" x 31.8", 14.25" wb.  They haven't been in the collections for several seasons now.  I hope Krooked produces more soon.

There could be a new Drehobl board out in the next drop or next catalog, which is the 9.25 with the 14.25 / 14.75 double drilled holes.

Stock pic for reference:

Also the Beach Bum shape seems like it has had a comeback, as it is available / in the most recent catalog.

Beach Bum is pretty much my best 7ply maple friend. That and the Barbee Street Shape are my alternate go-tos.

Anybody ever skate the 5boro "Shred" shape? I love the idea of a 8.75 with a sub 14wb. Also, woodshop heads, how is South Central's wood? Never tried one but thinking my next deck is gonna be one of these

Yo I googled the shape and saw your photos from the setup thread, actually the best pictures of the deck on the internet.

I'm stoked, went over measurements on my lovenskate football (best damn skateboard I've ever had) that recently had a pressure crack splinter into something larger and more deadly :( Thankfully, the size and shape are pretty close. However, do you remember what the nose was like on that board? Was it more pointed, or a rounder at the end? Not a fan of the super pointy nose a la Quasi 9inch football or the Tired deal shape

I know it is just my eye, but the red one seemed so big and wide, whereas the new roses deck doesn't look anywhere near that.

Also the old red one was such an iconic graphic from back in the day so I think many more older skaters would recognise that one more easily too, but it could be off putting for some younger guys.

Pretty cool either way.
