I was shopping for a new deck today. I’m from Finland, so I was looking for EU shops. Decided to pick up the Real Team Classic Oval 8.38″ deck. At first I was eyeing the deck on skatedeluxe.com, a German skate shop. To my surprise, the product data listed the country of origin as China. Rushed to ask in the chat whether that was a mistake, but the shop’s customer service confirmed that some batches are indeed made in China and are not R1‑constructed.
So I aborted that mission and found the same deck on blue‑tomato.com for the same price. I asked their customer service, and they said the Real Team Classic decks they have in stock are made in Mexico.
Pretty confusing
Here's the link to skatedeluxe if someone is interested

Thanks for the post and info.
With so many changes in woodshops and other info, it can get a little confusing, but I think this info should help a bit more than maybe even someone in the shop who may or may not quite know what to look for or might not even be anywhere near the product to really check in person.
As far as I was told, the AH Eagles, Real Ovals and Krooked Eyes regular team boards were still going to be BBS while most others were made in China for countries outside of USA. Boards such as twin molds, Easy Rider, Tru Fit and some others were still USA made too, but as with everything, I really don't know how long that might be. Initially they only made the regular DLX / BBS molds for their production in China, but I would assume at some point they will expand that out to include most other options too.
In general the China made boards are very stiff and very solid, as well as having the usual DLX (BBS) concave too, so apart from a few hiccups or other issues, most people who have skated the China made boards have had good responses to them.
Re looking at them in pics or in person, the easiest way to tell is on the warning sticker, which has "Made in China" or "Made in Mexico" but if the pic is too small, then look at where the warning sticker is.
The China made boards have the warning sticker right between the front bolts, with no other markings on that area at all, as they are single press and exactly the same every time - also said to be approximately II to III stamp in concave, so right in the middle, not too steep, not too mellow.
The BBS made boards will usually have the warning sticker up higher towards the nose, so you can see the press number stamp on the middle front bolts area, be it I, II, III or IV clearly stamped there, which indicates what position in the press.
I being the steepest and at the top of the press, IV being the most mellow and bottom in the press.
That Skate Deluxe pic shows the BBS / Mexico sticker and stamp, for reference.
