I feel 440 are 100% 0.5 size up from your normal size. Toe box is square and wide but it's not that wide. You need a 0.5 size up unless you have slim, dainty feet, in my opinion.

You realize you just bummed out like 75 people on here right?

Ah fuck. I hope eveyone is stoked on the size they ordered though. Just my .02. Slim and dainty may not have been the best word choice, either.

Unrelated to the above and an on topic bump...

Just got my 440 (like mostly everyone on here) in from eBay and they are really clean.

I had a 440 before but never skated them. Will give these a shot.

I was super close to getting them too.  Fortunately the gray/orange color was enough for me to step down off the ledge.  Still really want to try them at some point.

Plus the fact that I currently have those 440’s coming in the mail as I type this, haha.

Never shopped with them before but the Bold series is going for $39.99 which is on par with their Renewal Edition (pricepoint boards). I think most logo boards are $54.99. Grip is separate with free shipping at $100 "SHIPFREE"; which you'll need since shipping is $50 and up.

Me too. I had a pair but I skated them. It’s 8five2 collab and not many stores sold them in the states.

exactly! i grab my pair to do Home Depot errand run trips and shit. After wearing other shoes and going back to the 913 they seem to fit my foot really well, especially length.

My delivery was handed over to the local USPS and they are blowing it. According to the UPS tracker, they were supposed to be delivered by UPS last night. Info was updated today to say that the USPS has had them since Wednesday morning. Of course, they're having some funding problems so I'm optimistic they'll show up. Maybe this happened to yours too and you'll get yours too?

Yeah it's legit.

They sell your information if you don't opt out of it though FYI.

Damn, didn’t opt out accidentally

Copped the Westgate 574 and SF authentics.
Fought myself from getting the Ultrarange Pros, Crockett 2s, and TNTs (heard they’re good). Almost grabbed the 913s but white is a dangerous color for me.

USPS has been having a lot of issues overall. Bought some Buz ADVs over a month ago and they seem to have gotten stuck and some Ultrange 2s are in the same situation. Both were sent from near me.
Nothing I do deserves more than an iphone camera.

My 2 pairs of 440s arrived to today, tried them on for a moment and they felt good.  Sizing felt correct l, haven’t skated them yet though. The colorway isn’t my favorite but I can’t complain at that price.

That deal was too good, tried to buy another pair and every size was sold out.
Thanks for the link.

Edit: Actually they are a littttttttle snug.  Still think they will work for skating.

Ive had nothing but bad experiences with my local USPS. I called the post office today and they said "they arent lost we just cant find them" after the updates said it hadnt been scanned since UPS handed it over on tuesday.

Wednesday they said "out for delivery" then thursday said "no scan since August 5th."

I called again before they closed and the lady told me that the carrier "remembered dropping it off some day this week," which is a lie because I do class from home and grab the mail as soon as its dropped off.
She then told me to contact claims and the seller also. I asked what information do I need for claims and she said "I dont know ive never had to make a claim"

Just frustrating. I felt bad contacting the seller but I have the screen shots of my tracking info.

Lol do you live in West LA?

I've had about the same experience, except I'm a day behind you. This is mostly how UPS delivers to my part of town these days so it's par for the course. I'm confident they'll show up but when is a guess. If I haven't seen them by Monday, I'll start a claim too.

Haha I would skate some Chet 4s, the white gum would be my preferred color but I’d also skate the purple ones.
Although Idk if I’d actually want to spend the money on them. Maybe if they went on sale for like $30

update regarding the USPS situation. It was scanned at my local post office at 8:26 this morning. I called the woman back and she said "oh someone from your building mustve gotten the package and returned it, that never happens."

It never happens because it didnt happen, and I dont live in a building, I live on a one way street. According to her the package is out for delivery today, although my mail has already come so hopefully monday? I have very little faith it will be resolved and will now be sending any packages to my parents house.

I will say I didnt get shitty with her at any point during the last two days so hopefully that increases the odds of actually getting these.

Are you specifically talking to the Post Master or just a regular employee? Post masters are supposed to try really hard to find your package.

My local PO has been doing a separate driver for just packages since at least the beginning of quarantine so I'm hoping for a similar delivery today. They've had it since Wednesday so this is kinda pushing it. I was right near the PO a few hours ago too and thought of popping in then immediately spaced. Now I'm extra bummed. Glad you got yours!

I did want to mention that I feel that these are pretty much tts. I would compare it to a more slim blazer GT as far as how the fit feels on foot. Hope that helps some of you who havent gotten it yet but are worried it isnt tts. It will definitely get more roomy as it is broken in.

Should be getting those 440's wednesday. Saw a pair in the local shop this week and tried em on to see how they fit and they were good, so im not too worried now that theyll be to big or small! New Balance is usually always either a half size too big or too small for me.

got my 440s yesterday - I would agree with TTS. Happy with 2 pairs for $38 - first time trying NB(I have been strictly DC and Adidas the last few years). Now to figure out how to get the big N off the side and I will good to go.

Sorry to hear about the USPS drama. I used to be a mail carrier and there are plenty of reasons why packages get delayed like from getting mixed in with another carrier's packages to a late arriving truck from the sorting plant - the larger the city/post office the higher the chances of these types of delays.
