Admitting I haven't read through this huge thread-- anyone have any recommendations for melodic east coast hardcore that is out now.   When I search for melodic hardcore in various places I'm getting these weird nu-metal bands with synths and screamo style riffs.  Looking for things in the vein of title fight, lifetime, early saves the day, reach the sky, etc., or even strife/integrity style 90s victory metal. Just something new without eyeshadow, synths, death metal imagery etc!  Looking for some hardcore guitar riffs!  Thanks for the recommendations.

For the melodic tip

This is a pretty sick band from the central MA area.

Dig it. Kinda reminds me of Withdrawal…

Been listening to this Carcass cover over and over …

both of these ripped,  but god damn that Echo Chamber demo is amazing. thank you for this, worthy of Demo of the Year contention.

speaking of... if you like Merauder but want more riffs and ignorantly hard mosh parts, this is for you. Track 2, "Zero Hour" is so insanely good.

Fuck I forgot about Aladdin jr! I saw lack of interest there a few times I think. I want to say I saw minus or downpresser there a few times too. Obviously xibalba a grip too.

Either way, here’s this.

Well I have like 9 Andy Anderson dated flight decks.

yeah super sick. I went through the channel yesterday, some awesome sets. I was at that forced order show and it was super sick. I didn't watch the whole vid but it was either that set or another one at the same venue they covered integrity for those who fear tomorrow. I remember the place going off haha

dude me too. aladdin jr's fuckin ruled. both minus and downpresser are so cali haha. I just saw downpresser is still active, I was surprised. I never got into Xibalba at the time but in hindsight they are so sick, on some over the top straight metal beatdown shit hahah

Most of the Screamo bands after 2000/2001 were extremely bland and boring. This band slaps though - hailing from Malaysia.

Blast from the past. Been listening to this on repeat the entire day. even after over 25 years this record is still a beast. Still confused about that Hitler speech though – i know for a fact that those guys weren't nazis

First Show yesterday. Went good. This is Swid's 3rd time playing with us. He did good.

As you can see the smoke machine killed my peddles.
It's been some years but I did some quick thinking abandoned my peddles eent directly in.
Nbd.
Somehow I stayed in tune with the others.  I had just broke an A string during the sound check.

Figured I share a few numbers with pals who like scumbag rock and or roll.

I might share one more.

We have more dates. Plans to travel next year. Morale is high. I'm going to push the subject till I'm bombing hills in SF
