So I've been riding the Mutant shape fore the past year and I have to say it clearly is my favourite board of all time!
But now after months of riding the same shape I am on the lookout for something new.

Unfortunately I have one pet peeve when it comes to big boards: I don't like the fact that most boards >9.5 are only 31.x in length. I like the fact that the heroin board has a 32 length and it makes it suitable for every terrain.

Doe you guys know of any shapes in the 10' range that have a 32' length?

The last boards I rode where the Black Label Lance Mountain board, the Mutant and the Fixer Pig Tank.
Scram, Black Label, Blast, and Heroin all have big boys. All good companies to support as well.

Pulled a cruiser deck out of the graveyard and set it up, really fun

Prime/ Brian Bent
Panhead bolts 1-1/4
That grip tape with the teddy bear
Dogtown 1/4 risers
Heroin Rails
159 standards
Speedlab 56mm
Big balls

Skating these

Looks great. One of these days, we will meet up and shred.
I know we aren't madness shaming in the gear section, come on were better than this.

Damn, I see a lot of Scram Boards in here and would really like to try one. Unfortunately very hard to get here in Switzerland.

Now with all my weird superstitions I am really contemplating pressing and cutting my own boards.

That setup looks like a blast. The grip looks so sick. Still sad they separated those curbs.

Nice negative space thing with the grip. Which speedlab wheels and howíre you liking them? Iíve been riding some bombshells, but the honeymoon is over. I think one of the bearing seats is fvcky.

Hereís my current set up

Atm Click Donovan Rice 10in
Indy 169s (w the red bushings canít remember the duro slightly softer than the yellow)
OJ Nomads / reds (not my first choice but what the shop had)
Enjoy tummy rails (theyíre okay, first time using rails, not sure who makes the best ones these seem kind of cheap)
Mob

This is my first big board just got it yesterday. So far itís super super fun, going from 149s to 169s is an adjustment, maybe I should have gone for 159s not sure. Definitely recommend this board, it was only $50 at the shop. Itís made at bbs too.

Well damn, this thread made me scourge the shops for a Dane1, so now I need to get some new trucks, fuck. Stoked on the Bistro graphic though

So should I go with Ace 55's? Or wider? Would rather ride a flying carpet than a hot rod...

Edit: Just saw the post by @dancing's above, and fuck does it look good with those 55's.

Don't go wider than 9" Ace or 9.125" indy on the Dane 1. 8.75" trucks work too.

FrozenIndustries Iím looking forward to it dude, this summer I hope

Jtrpma itís one of the best spots Iíve ever skated, Totally smooth and every curb is broken in

Eggie Vedder thanks dude and if I see you there Iíll let you take it for a spin, those things are totally hammered down now and I wish so bad I could slide all 3

beandemon thanks a lot dude and Iím getting used to the smaller size right now cause I usually skate 60 but so far Iím loving it. They check all my boxes for width, shape and slidability. These are the dads board shop ones I think theyíre called

Double dipping from set ups, was unaware of the big boy thread
9.75 custom shape based on J.Lee BurgerKing x Olson SC Stinger
Old 149s
55mm F4 classics
Old Hardlucks
Paradox scraps haha

Yes, that's so rad!
Had to redrill to a 14.25 wb. Shit was too squirrelly with my trucks on 149s. Almost tried some ace 55s but i heard ace makes your wb feel smaller

Copied from the small deck energy thread...

Also that gross is so sweet

Sexiest setup around!!

I love the look of the super wide square wheels. I've been waiting for that deck to drop here for some time, cant say no to wheel wells on a 9 deck

Thanks! I really wasnít a fan of the graphics, nor the blue but the shape, dimensions and wood are just a guaranteed win. Wheel wells are also nice, so I can throw my new 58s on there easily.

Also I was surprised nobody noticed my addition to the top graphic, haha...

I almost did, but I'm a little hesitant on the length. Seems like it would be a nice contrast to my green giant.

I really want one of Donovanís boards unfortunately theyíre just to short for me. Or Iím to tall for them. Whichever fits. Rad setup and glad to see his boards getting some love.

I almost did, but I'm a little hesitant on the length. Seems like it would be a nice contrast to my green giant.

They are almost the two extremes, eg yellow beach bum is very short with short 14.2 wheelbase and short nose, the green giant is very long with 15.25 wheelbase and a regular long nose, which was drilled down on the second hand one I got making the nose super long, so I was almost thinking of cutting it down too.

It is more just a cruiser for me, so not that important, but it is funny with such a big difference.

I talk too much about skateboards.  Sorry.

Yes, and you are not alone there - lots of people are keen!!!

This is the most recent stock drop just released as per DLXSF.COM and https://www.antiheroskateboards.com (and the Stock Report video above / on the previous page), so might be in some stores sooner than later in more local US areas, but might be a whole lot longer in other places, like Australia or EU.

I talk too much about skateboards.  Sorry.

Hey Skibb and Freelancevagrant, you guys got me stoked to get one too. Looking at the exact same board and graphic as you Skibb.

How much does it taper over the back trucks?

Thanks.

I mean, it tapers a bit of course. But it's 9.75" at its widest point and theres no hot rodding with my 9" Ace 55 Classics, so it's nothing crazy. Maybe a smidge under 9" at it's narrowest on the tail?
