A big zoom meeting thing..so we can see the mf's we are talking to. A lot of us had to do these with people we didn't want to since Covid started, it could be hilarious to do with other fools in here.

I read an article recently that explained how the saxophone is dying and it's not used in modern music any longer. How it's become this weird cliche, trite, mocked instrument. I think that's a fucking shame, personally.

I got maggot the other night and skated down to bottle shop I had a bag of mad weed in my pocket and I think it fell out as I put the mask on

I realised it was lost minutes later cause I was going to mates down the road went straight back and asked the chick there for my weed back and she fucking laughed in my face
Reckon she took it 100% but who cares I would speculate that her need was greater than mine

But I was thinking I am gonna fuck with her hard
Anyone got any ideas on how to be a cunt customer to her?

All I can think of is driving up there cause it’s a drive through bottle o and just buying like 20 cartons and making her load it up for me
They have to do this it’s a drive through bottle shop
Maybe I could like say fuck wrong ones and have her put em all back and get different beers?

Help me please

Edit

I just found it by the front door of my place
What a shitshow

If you like post punk, check out a lot of the new bands coming out of the UK. I feel like the sax has made it's way into a lot of that stuff lately, or at least enough for me to notice. Check out Squids last album.

While this kinda sucks it's also sort of survival of the fittest. These types of instruments aren't that accessible for most. And I know id be pretty bummed if a neighbour started playing a loud instrument. If they want to keep going they'd better work on a quality yet affordable electric sax you can play with headphones.

what is the skate scene like in russia?
[close]

couple vids for you to watch

[close]

thanks for that. seems to be a strong scene that ive never really heard about. i wonder if thats because im in the usa or that russia just doesnt have a very strong presence in the international skate scene in general. or i could just be wrong and not paying attention

i guess since i live in europe i was aware of some russian skating via euro mags. but overall i don't know much about it either, from what i've seen they have a pretty good scene going and some awesome skaters though. definetly worth keeping tabs on i'd say.

my knee hurts after im squatting for a moment .. it stiffens up and takes a second to get going again .. feel like an old man when i do it because i wince and groan and then im good to go .. also i actually really enjoy the “pain”

anyone know what’s going on with my knee? i don’t think it’s acl or mcl cuz that would be really painful right?
What kind of mikey taylor logic is this?

Whenever you need to call a call center, why do you always get put on hold b/c they are, "Experiencing higher than normal call volume?"  I talked to this girl at BoA, she helped me with my issue and sounded kind of cute.  At the end of the cal she goes, "Do you have any additional questions?"  I reply with, "Are you ever at normal or or below normal call volume?"  She replies with, "No."  I say, "Maybe you need to step up your threshold for what normal call volume is and hire some more people."  She laughed.

I really need to just save up my money and buy my own cement mixer. As much fun as it may be to mix with a shovel, I want to get creative and it's going to save time. Looks like I'm on the wagon and avoiding the sale thread.

Dude, anything less than 6 bags and I’d rather do it by hand in a tub or wheelbarrow. General contractor I’ve been working for a lot has a mixer and it’s a PITA to move and clean. Pro tip: a hoe is quicker than a shovel.

These mixers are sick

Don’t have to get this exact brand, they’re expensive
But this style is the go it’s real easy to wheel it around and one person can put it on the stand, you just put the tripod on when it’s lying down and stand it up and same in reverse to get it off the stand

They’re easy to clean too

For small mixes you can legit do em bucket by bucket with a half decent mixing drill, it’s easy as that way

Edit

Maybe I am a poosay but for anything bigger you’d just get readymix in or like a concrete truck as if you would break your back

I broke myself off today helping out a family friend
Been trying to ditch the job for two years cunt didn’t wanna re sheet full got bullied into doing it by family what a shitshow
Fully rendered these walls fucking mess and tiled it mint as but just happened to lose my fucking mind in the process
Making chicken salad out of chicken shit is a waste of time
I forgot to say it was this upstairs bathroom everything had to be carried up it was stupid
Domestic jobs are nowhere holy shit

I had this milk bath for two hours and I still feel like pure shit

The letter W is dumb. Double e and double O aren't their own letters.
letter Q shouldn't need a u after it we know it makes a kw sound.
The letter C should always make a ch sound and we should just use S and K when needed eg circle would be sirkel.

Vast majority of the jobs I’m on are residential, and usually just a few bags of this or that. Access to power and water/place to clean it out plus the space the mixer takes in the truck/trailer means buckets are just easier.
