I believe I was the one comparing them to ventures but the more I ride the 5.75 maglights the turning is much sharper than ventures, more on par with ace or indies. The Tensors have what feels likes a little delay before they turn, however, it doesnt mean unresponsive because they can carve with no problem. Its kinda like stabilized thurnder or similar to the stability you feel with ventures. Its really something that sounds like more of a big deal than it is and hard to describe but I def prefer them to ventures or my forged indys. I was also comparing them to very old ventures with the green bushings from like 95. As far as recent trucks and tensors to compare, I was riding indy 149 hollow forged and moved to tensor 5.75 maglights and I have zero complaints with the tensors. I am super happy with them. Yes, if you try to grind concrete, it can leave little gashes and wear down quicker than a hard metal, but once you grind them down a little bit so there more surface touching in your grind, the "gashes" or general grind wear lessens. Plus the soft metal grinds very nicely
Overall, if youre concerned with ATG tensors not turning well, dont worry. Theyre actually very responsive and feel stable. A totally different truck compared to previous Tensors. And it feels like 2 maglights is pretty damn close to 1 indy in weight. Amazingly light and well built. I do highly rec using bones hardcore bushings and washer in them however. Theyre 55mm* high in case that info isnt out there making them close to a mid high truck but not low.
